This collaboration made MRF a valuable brand for vehicles. After 20 years of hard work, around 1980, MRF became the leading brand in India. 

Mammen was initially interested in investing in well-known brands to expand his company’s horizon, like R&D. Eventually, he decided to move according to his own rule.
