Sidharth Shakdher, previously associated with Ola Mobility, has now joined Paytm, where he will be working closely with Founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma as Business head and CMO. With this new position at Paytm, the Company’s growth and profitability will be looked after by him.
Remarkably, after working for just nine months, Ola Mobility was left by Shakdher, during which the Ola Loyalty program, Ola Coin, consumer loans section, and the ONDC food delivery service were developed, and the core mobility business was brought to earnings.
Ahead of his joining with Ola, Shakdher has been working with Disney+ Hotstar as EVP and Chief Marketing Officer. He was part of the founding leadership program and led the platform’s marketing efforts, international expansion, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy.
Before Disney+ Hotstar, he was working with Amazon in Seattle, looking after the marketing and growth for its U.S. third-party marketplace. Not only this, he has also worked with Reckitt Benckiser as Category Marketing Head, playing a major role in introducing and building Dettol in the U.S. personal care market.
Shakdher has over 25 years of experience and he has previously worked with megacorps like Samsung, Canon, HP, Xerox, and Amazon in senior roles.
