Rajesh Rawani, a truck driver From Jamtara, Jharkhand by profession rose to online prominence owing to his deep passion for cooking, which led him to start a YouTube channel, R Rajesh Vlogs. Garnering 1.86 million Subscribers on his YouTube channel, he has become a Popular Internet personality. Talking about his First Youtube viral video, he remarked “I posted a video with a voiceover, and people kept asking me to reveal my face. So, my son made a video showing my face, and it got 4.5 lakh views in just one day.”
Discussing his YouTube income in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, he shared his earnings based upon viewership as Rs. 4-5 Lakh, reaching 10 Lakh per month from his YouTube content. This financial success led him to buy a new home. Additionally, he makes 25,000 and ₹ 30,000 per month from driving.
Despite attracting significant success and fame, he faced numerous struggles, including his hand injury in a tragic accident that created grave challenges, however, keeping resilience, he didn’t give up on his driving job, owing to the home construction project, meeting basic livelihood, and fulfilling necessities of family.
When asked about factors that generated huge success in his life, he gave credit to his family, who supported him throughout. Moreover, he shared that his father also worked as a driver, meeting the ends of his five-membered family by sending Rs. 500 each month, not enough, causing them to depend on loans. He states “We are running the vehicles and the YouTube channel at the same time. It would not be possible without my family’s support and help,”.
